Recipe: Chocolate Frosting

Makes enough frosting for one small cake or 12 cupcakes

  • 4 oz bittersweet chocolate cups
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon heavy cream

Add the chocolate and cream to a small saucepan. Slowly bring to the boil over a low to medium heat, stirring often.

Once the mixture has come to a boil, remove from the heat and beat the mixture with a whisk or electric beater until thick and smooth.

This frosting is very goey when it is made, but will harden slightly in a couple of hours.
